Planet Groove

GENRE:  Funked up R&B / Soul

Planet Groove is a 7 piece funked up R&B horn band that knows the meaning of the word “groove”. Besides having a rhythm section that is in the pocket all night long, Planet Groove also features a 3 piece horn section, which is unique . Planet Groove also has 6 vocalists which gives them plenty of versatility to cover a wide range of very challenging music. Planet Groove’s energetic stage show appeals to young and old alike because every member of the band agrees that every song that they play must be danceable, and leave an audience, with their heads bobbing, and grinning from ear to ear.

This says it all about Planet Groove. CBS Chicago listed them in the “Top Cover Bands” article.

Funkalicious! This group obviously enjoys their music as much as the guests do. Listen to the sounds of James Brown, Sly and the Family Stone, Earth Wind and Fire and many more of your favorite artists with the atmosphere of a live band. Dance the night away to the sounds of Planet Groove and relive the funky sounds of the 1970s. Get ready to wig out on the jams of this band.  [Source HERE]
