Media Sound Band represents a variety of styles but is most influenced by Motown, Soul and the Blues.Formed in 1991, they were the backing band for artists recording at media Sound Studio in Chicago for more than 30 years.Soon after forming, they evolved from a studio recording session band into a crowd-pleasing live act playing in local clubs and festivals across Chicago Some featured artists who have performed with the Media Sound Band include Holly McGuire,Tom Bonick, Stan Borys, Sami Scott, Kasia Sobczyk, Wally Wander, Andrew Taylor and Tom Cake among many others.
The newest collaboration with renowned Chicago blues guitarist Tom Holland has brought an exciting new energy to the rhythm of M.S.B.
