Polonijna Orkiestra Chicago
Polonijna Orkiestra Chicago is a vibrant youth orchestra dedicated to celebrating and preserving Polish musical heritage in the United States. Based at the Cistercian Polish Mission in Willow Springs, part of Our Lady Mother of the Church Parish, the orchestra brings together young musicians of Polish descent from across the Chicagoland area.
Under the direction of conductor Konrad Pawelek, the ensemble performs a diverse repertoire that includes traditional Polish folk melodies, patriotic and sacred works, and classical and contemporary selections. Their performances showcase the richness of Polish culture while fostering musical excellence, discipline, and community among the next generation of musicians.
Polonijna Orkiestra Chicago has become a regular presence at parades, festivals, and cultural celebrations throughout the Midwest, proudly representing the Polish-American community with energy, pride, and artistry.
