Sen. Mark Kirk visited the Copernicus Center yesterday and is seen here with Managing Director Gregg Kobelinski. The Senator has been a longtime supporter of the Copernicus Center and the Copernicus Foundation.
The Senator inquired about the preparations for the Taste of Polonia, the largest Polish festival in the country, which is scheduled for this Labor Day weekend. The Senator attended the festival several years ago and spoke to a large crowd of 3 to 4000 people regarding the Visa waiver program. The Senator has been a strong proponent of the program which would allow a free interchange of people traveling between the United States and Poland.
